Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of electric power and of cleaning agent and prevent corrosion from developing by a constitution wherein the amount of oils and fats adhered is optically detected and the cleaning is performed in response to said amount in a domestic fume extraction device equipped with an inertia type removing function of oils and fats and a cleaning function of oils and fats adhered. CONSTITUTION:Lamp-black is sucked from a suction port 24 into a smoke exhauster 15 so that the flow of lamp-black is turned by baffles 22 and collide against the surfaces of the baffles 22 and the inner wall 23 of a main body in order for the particles of oils and fats to adhere onto said surfaces and wall. Sensing elements 27 and 30 are respectively attached on the baffles 22. Due to the adhesion of oils and fats on the baffles 22 or on the elements 27 and 30, the light of a light emitting element 26 becomes hard to reach a photosensitive element 29. The decrease of the intensity of said light is detected so as to judge based upon the amount of oils and fats adhered whether the cleaning time arrives or not. When the arrival of the cleaning time is judged, cleaning fluid is jetted through a cleaning fluid supplying pipe 20, piping 18 and a nozzle 21 in order to clean the surfaces of the baffles 22 and the wall 22. Together with the cleaning, the sensing elements 27 and 30 are also cleansed. As a result, the cleaning fluid is stopped and discharged through a pipe 31. Thus, the economization of electric power and of cleaning fluid and the protection of the corrosion due to a cleaning fluid reservoir can be realized.

As shown in FIG.
A plurality of baffles 6 are arranged on the inner wall 5 of the smoke evacuation device body in order to forcibly bend the flow 4 of oily smoke sucked into the smoke evacuation device main body interior 3 by the blower 2. When the oil smoke passes through the inside 3 of the smoke evacuation device main body, the oil and fat that adheres to the panfluro and the internal wall 6 of the smoke evacuation device main body are removed by spouting a cleaning liquid from the cleaning nozzle 7 disposed inside the smoke evacuation device main body 3VC. . Note that when not cleaning, the cleaning liquid is stored in the cleaning liquid reservoir 8 provided at the bottom of the main body of the smoke evacuation device, and when cleaning, the cleaning liquid is stored in the cleaning liquid reservoir 8. After heating the cleaning liquid with the heater 9, the pump 1o
be recycled and reused. By the way, even though the cleaning liquid has sufficient ability to dissolve fat and oil, it is extremely uneconomical to replace the cleaning liquid when cleaning every time cooking. Estimated to be about 2g in an average household, it is calculated from the oil and fat soluble ability of the cleaning liquid used, and the time to replace the cleaning liquid is determined, and cleaning is performed once a day using a timer etc.
It has been proposed to count the number of cleanings (days) and then control the discharge and supply of the cleaning liquid when the time for replacement is reached. However, the amount of oil and fat contained in the oil smoke generated during actual cooking varies greatly depending on the type of food and the amount of cooking, and naturally the amount of oil and fat that adheres to the inside of the smoke evacuation device body including the baffle also varies, such as hamburgers (hamburgers, etc.).
Approximately 130 [8 pieces] is 0.22g, steak (approximately 130
6 pieces), it is 2.42g, which is a very different amount.

For this reason, when cooking with a small amount of fat and oil contained in the generated oil smoke, or when cooking only a small number of times, cleaning liquid that still has the ability to dissolve fat and oil is discharged, which is very uneconomical. In the opposite case, a problem arises in that a cleaning liquid that exceeds the limit of oil and fat solubility is used, causing oil and fat to re-adhere to the internal walls and baffles of the smoke evacuation device main body, resulting in a reduction in the cleaning function. Furthermore, since the cleaning liquid remains in the cleaning liquid reservoir for a certain period of time calculated from the oil and fat solubility of the cleaning liquid, for foods that have a bad odor, such as fish dishes, the cleaning liquid containing the oil and fat will emit a bad odor. In addition, since the cleaning liquid is constantly stored, there is a problem of corrosion of parts such as the cleaning liquid reservoir.

To explain the operation based on the above configuration, oil smoke generated during cooking is removed by a blower from the main body 1 of the device, which is composed of an intake port 24.
Pass through the inside of 6. At this time, inside the main body of the smoke evacuation device, the flow of the oil smoke is forcibly bent, and the inertial force causes the oil particles contained in the smoke to move on the surface of each baffle 22 and on the inner wall 23 of the smoke evacuation device main body. As the oil collides with and adheres to the oil, the oil smoke from which the oil and fat content has been removed is exhausted. At this time, the detection unit 27.3 provided in the baffle 22
Oil and fat components corresponding to the amount of oil and fat in the oil smoke are attached to the light emitting element 26, and therefore the intensity of the light that passes through the light emitting element 26, the detection parts 27 and 30, and reaches the photosensitive element 29 is lower than the intensity of the light that reaches the detection parts 2 and 30. It decreases depending on the amount of oil and fat attached. This is detected by the photosensitive element 29, and the time to clean can be detected.

Next, the operation sequence will be explained with reference to FIG. 4. When the blower is operated during normal cooking, the cleaning liquid 17 does not exist in the cleaning liquid reservoir 16. °After the cooking is finished, the amount of oil and fat currently adhering to the inside of the smoke evacuation device main body 15 approaches the oil and fat soluble ability of the cleaning liquid, and the oil adhesion detection unit determines whether it is time to clean or not. For example, after tap water flows in from the cleaning liquid supply pipe 20 and detergent is automatically added (the detergent injection device is not shown), when the heater 33 is energized and the cleaning liquid 17 reaches a predetermined temperature, the pump is started and the piping route is Cleaning liquid is ejected from each cleaning nozzle 21 via 18 to perform cleaning. During this cleaning, the surface of the detection section 27.30 of the oil adhesion detection section is directed toward the cleaning nozzle 21.
The device body 15 is cleaned with a cleaning liquid spouted from the main body 15 or flowing down the inner wall of the main body 15, which is composed of a cleaning nozzle 21 provided above, to remove attached oil and fat and return to the initial state. When the cleaning is completed, the cleaning liquid is discharged from the cleaning liquid discharge pipe 31, and the series of cleaning steps is completed. Therefore, since cleaning is performed when necessary, there is no wastage in the consumption of detergent or power consumption required for cleaning liquid including heaters and pumps, etc., and it is very economical. It is no longer necessary to keep the cleaning liquid in the tank, and the problem of bad odor emitted from the used cleaning liquid and corrosion of the cleaning liquid reservoir parts 9 and 16 is solved.
