Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 歯みがき剤は歯みがき粉と線画みがきに分けられるが、
その目的とするところは、歯ブラシによる歯の機械的清
掃を助けると共に、その構成分による消毒作用、歯石溶
解作用、口臭減退作用などによって虫歯や歯槽膿漏症の
予防又は治療に役立たせるものである。
そして歯みがき粉の成分として一般的なものは、第一に
基剤として炭酸カルシウム、リン酸カルシウム、硫酸カ
ルシウム、炭酸マグネシウム、塩酸マグネシウムなどが
用いられていて、これらの基剤が、歯の機械的清掃に役
立つのである。この外、清掃剤（例えば石けん類）香料
、色素、歯石溶解剤などを小量ずつ入れてなる。これは
歯みがき粉の場合であって線画みがきにはこれらの素材
の外に接合剤や安定材を加えるのである。
これら従来の歯みがき剤では９上のような目的かつ成分
構成であるので、歯みがきには有効であるがうがいのた
めには役に立たなかった。
うがいは、鼻咽頭のうちの一部を洗浄する効果があり、
その他、咽頭粘膜にしめり気を与え、粘膜の細胞表面の
防御条件を良好に保つのにも役立つし、爽快感を得るこ
とができる。また食後のうがいは虫歯予防のために、幼
児期の生活習慣として有意義である。
うがいをするときは水、温水又は食塩水などで行う乙と
もできるが、一般に含歎剤（うがい薬）を用いて行う方
が効果的であるため、種々の含漱剤が用いられている。
この含歎剤は口腔内の細菌の繁殖を防ぎ、また炎症の治
療をなすに用いる薬剤であり、収斂性と防腐性などを有
する。
その成分としては２％硼酸水や、０．５％ミョウバン水
、２％重曹水、３％オキジドールなどが用いられている
。
またタンのきれを良くするためにサポニンを含むセネガ
根末を含有する場合もあり、誠実の目的でチモールや過
マンガン酸カリを微量に加えたり、ハツカ水、ウイキア
ウ水などの芳香剤を爽快感を増すために加えたししてい
るものもある。
このように、うがいは歯みがきと全く異なった目的をも
ちそれに使用される含漱剤も歯みがき剤とは成分を異な
らしめるが、うがいが歯みがき同様子供のみならず大人
にとっても毎日欠かせない習慣であることは多言を要し
ない。しかも近年の大気汚染等の理由から更にその必要
性が強調されるに至っている。しかし、習慣的にうがい
を行うことは面倒臭く、慣行されていないのが現状であ
る。
本発明は、これらの現況に鑑み発明されたもので、歯み
がき剤の中に含敷剤等を含有させることにより、歯みが
き時に容易にうがいも出来る歯みがき剤を提供すること
を目的とする。
本発明は前述のような歯みがき剤の中に前述の含漱剤、
その他一般にうがい薬として用いられているものあるい
は芳香剤などを適宜入れてなるものであるから使用にあ
たっては、まず本発明の歯みがき剤で歯をみがく。する
とそれだけでも、本発明中に含まれる含敷剤等の効果で
自然と口腔内が消毒される等の効果を奏するが、その後
、このままうがいを行えば前述のようなうがい特有の効
果がもたらされる。
従って、本発明の使用者は、歯みがき剤を使用して歯を
みがいたあとで、そのまま歯みがき剤でうがいをすれば
、歯みがき剤中に含まれる含漱剤によりうがいの効果も
即時に得られる。
このように、本発明によれば、うがいが習慣的に、かつ
容易に行える等の効果を奏する。
