Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit simple and sure mounting and dismounting of a plate to be plated by using a clamp body, and a lever as well as a four-link mechanism consisting of a connecting plate and pins in constituting a jig for mounting the plate-like material to be plated to a copper plate for feeding electricity. CONSTITUTION:Plural sheets of metallic plates 2 to be plated are connected by means of U-pieces 1 and the assembled plate is connected to a copper plate 5 for feeding electrictiy and is dipped in a plating soln. A clamping device used to clamp the plates 2 in this case is constituted of a clamping body 31, a lever 39 and a four-link mechanism connected freely turnably by means of pins 32, 47 to a connecting plate 33. The clamp consists of a static clamp 46 and a working clamp 45. When the lever 39 is turned on the direction opposite from an arrow A, a clamping piece 44 turns counterclockwise around the pin 37, thus forcing the clamp 45 mounted thereto to space from the clamp 46. The operator inserts the plate 2 into the spacing part between both clamps 45 and 46. The operator inserts the plate 2 into the spacing between the clamps 44 and 46 and presses the lever 39 in the direction A thereby grasping the plate in the static clamp 46 with the clamp 45. The plate 2 is removed from the clamp 31 simply by turning the lever 39 in the direction revrse with the direction A.

A long screw 27 and an elastic body 29 are provided as means for elastically restricting the sliding movement of the connecting plate 33 so that it can automatically adapt to changes in the thickness of the plate-shaped workpiece 2. The above long screw 27 is
It is inserted gently into a through hole made in a bracket 48 fixed to the clamp body 31, and the cylindrical elastic body 29 is brought into contact with the bracket 48 through the tabs 28, and the nuts 26 are inserted from both sides of the clamp body 31 as appropriate. I feel nervous. As a result, the long screw 27 is allowed to move slightly in the vertical direction and is supported elastically. Turn the nut 26 to adjust the long screw 27 up and down VC, and bring the lower end of the long screw 27 into contact with the tip of the connecting plate 33. As a result, even if the thickness of the plate-shaped workpiece 2 changes slightly, it can be firmly clamped between the two clamp plates 45 and 46. In this embodiment, a workpiece having a thickness of 15K-2.5m can be properly held.

Since one method of workpiece thickness can be tolerated over a wide range, it is possible not only to handle variations in manufacturing dimensions for workpieces of the same model, but also to hold all workpieces of different models. In practice, it is versatile enough to be used for all thicknesses of workpieces, except for extremely irregularly shaped objects.

The plating jig constructed as described above operates when the lever 69 is pushed in the direction of arrow A shown in FIG.
clamps and holds the plate-shaped workpiece 2, and has great adaptability to the thickness of the plate-shaped workpiece, and furthermore, when the release lever 25 is pushed in the direction of arrow B, the operation clamp plate 45 is clamped. Release and maintain the released position. In this way, it is possible to clamp and release the plate-shaped workpiece 2 by simply pressing the arrows A and B, and also to suspend the plate-shaped workpiece 2 that is being clamped. It is also convenient for transportation. These operating characteristics make it easy to automate the plating equipment by using a single plating jig.
