Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a slippage of parts and to transfer the parts easily and reliably by positioning the parts with a block and adsorbing the parts to a magnet to be turned and transferred in a unit for turning and transferring parts such as a push-switch or the like. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a transported part 2 are supported by a support portion of a positioning projection 33 of an escape block 14, and the part is brought into contact with a retaining projection 34 of the escape block 14 to be stopped. When the part is detected by a detector 35, a motor is started, so that a positioning lever 27 is turned to adsorb the part 2 with magnets 25, 26. Subsequently, the escape block 14 is moved in the same manner in co-operation with an adjust screw 36. Thus, the part 2 is completely positioned to be vertical and delivered to a chuck. In this arrangement, the part can be transferred easily and reliably without slippage.
