Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は磁気ディスク記憶装置（以下記憶装置と略す
）の改良に関するものである。
記憶装置において、装置使用時ヘッドは円板面から１μ
ｍ以下で浮上している。デツキ内の相対湿度が高い場合
、ヘッドと円板間の水蒸気の粒子密度が大きくなり、そ
の粘性等によシヘッドが円板面に墜落しく以下ヘッドク
ラッシュと略す）、データ破壊をひき起こすという重大
な事故が発生することがある。
この発明は上記のような従来のものの欠点を除去するた
めになされたもので、デツキ内の相対湿度を検出するこ
とにより、デツキ内が所定湿度範囲外の場合には、ヘッ
ドを円板面上へ移動させる動作（以下へラドロードと略
す）を禁止する機構を持つ装置を提供することを目的と
している。
以下図をおって説明する。
第１図はこの発明による記憶装置の一実施例を示す図で
、（１）は機構部デツキ、（２）はスピンドル。
（３）は磁気円板、（４）は磁気ヘッド、（５）はへソ
ドアーム、（６）は防塵カバー、（７）はアクチコーエ
ータ、（８）はスピンドルモータ、　（９）（Ｉｎはプ
ーリ、θ９はベルト。
０３は上記防塵カバー（６）で囲まれた磁気円板収納空
間内において機構部デツキ（１）に取り付けた湿度セン
サ、０漕はとのセンサにより湿度を検出する湿度検出回
路、α４はこの湿度検出回路の出力を入力とするヘッド
ロード制御回路である。
第２図は上記湿度検出回路０階の出力特性図である。
第１図においてデツキ内の相対湿度を上記湿度センサＱ
７Ｊで検出し、上記湿度検出回路（１３１に、ｌその湿
度に対応する電圧を出力する。第２図に示す上記湿度検
出回路Ｏｊの出力特性により、上記へラドロード制御回
路α４において所定湿度範囲の境界値に対応する基準電
圧を設定（２ておけば、電圧比較を行なうことで所定湿
度外の湿度が検出できる。
デツキ内の相対湿度が所定湿度範囲外であれば上記ヘッ
ドロード制御回路によりヘッドロードを禁市し、所定湿
度範囲内であれば通常のへラドロードを行なう。
この発明は９以上のように記憶装置の内部浸度を湿度セ
ンサにより検出し、所定温度外環境下ではへラドロード
を禁止するだめ、ヘッドクラッシュの重大事故が防止で
き実用的価値が大である。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 機構部デツキの所定位置に湿度センサを設け。 上記磁気ディスク記憶装置内部の相対湿度を上記湿度セ
    ンサで検出し、この検出信号にてヘッドロードの制御を
    行うことを特徴とする磁気ディスク記憶装置。
