Abstract

PURPOSE:The titled composition exhibiting extremely improved controlling activity against various kinds of blights such as powdery mildew of cucumber, etc. without providing crops with phytotoxicity, obtained by blending a highly purified machine oil having specific low sulfonating value with kasugamycin. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. highly purified machine oil having <=10 sulfonating value is blended with 2-50pts.wt. kasugamycin to give an agricultural and horticultural fungicidal composition exhibiting extremely improved synergistic controlling effects on various kinds of blights such as powdery mildew of cucumber, downy mildew of cucumber, leaf mold of tomato, etc., which are slightly expected from effects of each agent of its own. The machine oil has lower sulfonating value than conventional machine oil, and the amount of it used is small, so it has lower phytotoxicity to crops and usable without anxiety.

It is also used as a horticultural disease control agent, but it is used to control late rot disease in grapes (2,000 years ago). Its disease control activity is considerably inferior to that of conventional known horticultural fungicides.
Therefore, it is necessary to spray at a high concentration of 4,000 to 9,700 ppm per day.

In view of these circumstances, as a result of intensive study on a mixture of machine oil and a known fungicide for horticulture, we found that highly refined machine oil, which is mainly used as an insecticide and acaricide, has a rice-potato fungicide effect. K used as a disease control agent
The present invention was completed based on the finding that mixing SM exhibits extremely excellent control activity against various diseases such as cucumber powdery mildew, cucumber rot, and tomato leaf mold.

The effect of the agricultural and horticultural fungicidal composition according to the present invention is not simply an additive effect of the pesticidal effects of each single agent, but is an extremely outstanding effect that is difficult to estimate from the inherent effects of each agent. It was confirmed that there was a clear synergistic effect.

When used with FIJ-&, there is less worry about drug damage and it can be used with peace of mind. However, its bactericidal activity is mediocre, and it causes phytotoxicity to vegetables such as cucumbers, so it cannot be used alone as a control agent for I. leaf mold, as shown in the test example below. However, by mixing it with KSM, a known fungicide, it was able to exhibit sufficient disease control activity for practical purposes without giving any medicinal effects to crops, making it a useful fungicide for agriculture and horticulture. sell.
