ーシャリ−ブチル−3−(2,4−ジクロロ−5−イソ
プロポキシフェニル)−1,3,4−オキサジアゾリン
−2−オン(以下オキサシアシンと称する)とN−(フ
ォスフォノメチル)グリシン(以下グリフオi−トと称
する)を重量比にて1=8〜8:1の範囲で含有する除
草剤組成物を提供せんとするものである。

果は望めなかった。一方、他の有効成分であるグリフオ
セートは、土壌処理による発芽前の雑草の防除効果は無
く、専ら発芽後の雑草の茎葉処理剤として知られた薬剤
であり、その使用方法としては、前もって処理をしてお
いても防除効果は期待できないため、雑草が発生する度
に数回に亘って散布しなければならず、殊に、茎葉処理
効果の発現に10〜14日間も要するため、薬剤処理効
果の確認に手間どるという繁雑さがあった。

ねた結果、機能、処理方法及び、作用効果等の全く異な
る上記公知のオキサシアシンとグリフオセートの2薬剤
を混合、併用するとき、互いに各単剤の有する特性を補
足し合って土壌処理及び茎葉処理いずれに於いても優れ
た雑草防除効果を発揮すると共に、各薬剤が相乗的に作
用し合って各雑草に対する除草効果の向上、特に茎葉処
理効果の発現連通が早まる等予想外の好結果が得られる
ことが見い出された。

ためその施用に当っては非農耕地及びリンゴ、葡萄、梨
、栗、蜜柑等の果樹園や桑園、茶畑等の永年作物に注意
深く用いられてきた程であるが、本発明が2成分混合に
よる除草剤に於いては、薬害増幅の懸念はないことも有
利な点である。
