Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はシーズヒーターの改良された端末処理に関する
ものである。
従来電熱器具等に用いられるこの種のシーズヒーターの
端末処理は、外部からの吸湿による絶縁劣化を防ぐため
に例えばシリコンワニスの如き加熱硬化型樹脂やゴム等
で封口するのが一般的であつた。しかしながらシーーズ
ヒーターの加熱−冷却のヒートサイクルの繰り返しによ
つて端末部に隙間が生じ、外部からの吸湿を完全に防止
することはできなかつた。本発明は以上のような従来の
欠点を解決すべく、 ９常温では固体であるが加熱され
ると高粘度の液体となる無溶斉りシリコンワニスによつ
て封口したものである。
以下その一実施例を添附図面により説明すると、１はヒ
ーターパイプ、２はヒーターパイプ１の端末部に突出す
る端子棒、３はこの端子棒２と接続： し、且つ前記パ
イプ１内に設けた熱線、４はこの熱線３と前記単子棒２
の一部をパイプ１内で絶縁保持する例えば電融マグネシ
ア等の充填物、５はパイプ１の開口部よりパイプ１内に
注入する封口材で、例えば無溶剤シリコンワニスが用い
られ、０ 常温では固体であるが加熱されると高粘度で
液化する特性を備えている。
６はパイプ１の開口部を前記封口材５の外側より閉塞す
る蓋で、ゴム、樹脂等の耐熱性材料が用いられ、パイプ
１の内壁に密着している。
なお、上記封口材５は適当な温度５ に加熱して開口部
よりパイプ１内に注入してあり、蓋６はヒーターの加熱
時に液化した封口材５がパイプ１より流出しないよう閉
塞している。以上のように構成した本発明によれば、封
口材が常温時は固体であるが加熱されると高粘度で液０
化するので、この封口材自体が従来のように加熱−冷
却のヒートサイクルの繰返えしでパイプとの間に隙間が
生じるようなことがなく、加熱時には常に液化してパイ
プ内壁と密着するとともに、冷却されるとそのまま固化
して密閉するので、外部５ からの吸湿を完全に防止で
きるとともに、長期の使用にも耐え得る効“塙る。

  1. １ 端子棒と接続した熱線を充填材にて絶縁内装したパ
    イプの端部開口を、無溶剤シリコンワニスで封口したこ
    とを特徴とするシーズヒーター。
