Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は光ファイバーの接続方法に係わるものである。
従来から光ファイバーの材質が石英材質、又は樹脂材質
にせよ連繋させることは減衰を伴うものであるが故に困
難な作業であ一つだ。本発明は之等の難点を解決すべく
提供されるものである。
即ち本発明の方法によれば、繋属方法も簡単にして所期
の目的を容易に達し得るものである。
本発明の詳細な説明する。第１図は本発明に係わる一実
施例の形状図で１ａと１ｂはそれぞれの突き合せている
光ファイバーであり、２と６はそ九それの金属管である
。４は金属の突き合亡か適当に可能にするために差し仁
み用の段が形成されている。５は１ａと１ｂとの光ファ
イバーの突き合せて接している部分である。本発明のも
のは２及５の金属管の外側から加熱して、それぞｈの中
に在中する１ａと１ｂを溶融させて、５の境界の部分を
一体化して、同一体の１ａと市の係属面を形成させるも
のである。
即ち本発明のものは金属管に光ファイバーを在中させる
ことにより光ファイバーの長さを次から次に係属可能に
するもので用途範囲の広い光ファイバーを提供可能にす
るものである。

    と加熱、加温して、在中ぜる光ファイバーを溶融さ、ぜ
    で、当該光フ゛アイバーの突合わせ部分の境目をなくし
    て、相互の同一体として形成させたことを特徴とする光
    ファイバー。
