In recent years, home gardening, including ornamental plants, has become popular, but in winter, when the temperature drops, the soil inside the flowerpot also gets cold, which can cause plants to fail to grow or die.

Conventional methods to prevent this have included exposing sunlight during the day and bringing it indoors at night, or building a greenhouse to overwinter, but the former method of sunlight exposure depends on the weather. It lacked certainty and required time and effort to move. The latter greenhouse method also had the disadvantage of high equipment costs.

This invention attempts to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, and provides a flowerpot warmer that can be attached to a flowerpot and use electric heat to warm the soil inside the flowerpot and the area around the flowerpot when necessary. An embodiment of the flowerpot warmer of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. FIG.

The figure shows a heater placed on the inner bottom of a flower pot (indicated by a two-dot chain line). (1) is a heater, (2) is an electric wire connected to the heater (1), and (3) is a heat-resistant insulation with excellent soil resistance. Heater made of material such as rubber or plastic (1
), it is formed into a disc shape, has a hole (4) in the center, and has a collar (5) around the outer periphery and the hole (4). In other words, the brim (5
) on top, add soil, and plant the plants. When you connect the electric wire (2) to the power source, electricity enters the heater (1) and the heater (1) becomes hot. The surface of the case (3) surrounding the heater (1) also becomes warm and warms the soil.

The heating capacity of the heater (1) is small enough to prevent the soil from freezing, and even if electricity is supplied continuously, the temperature will not rise above a certain level, even if the roots come into direct contact with this heater. It also has no negative impact.

Since the heater (1) is protected by the case (3),
It is located under the soil and will not be affected by water or fertilizer application. When water is injected, the water flows down, but there is a collar (5) around the outer periphery of the case (3) and the hole (4), and the water accumulates to the height of the collar (5). Therefore, even if the soil is warmed, the soil will not completely dry out, and the soil will be warmed with appropriate moisture, allowing plants to grow under optimal conditions even in extremely cold weather. The heat source is electricity, and if there is a power source nearby, it can be easily obtained via electric wire (2), and it does not alter the soil or generate harmful substances that have a negative impact on plants.

As mentioned above, if the case (3) is made of a flexible material, it will easily conform to the shape of the flower pot, and the plant can be planted in a stable state as before.

Hereinafter, other embodiments and application examples of the flowerpot warmer of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5. Figures 3 and 4
The figure shows a case (3) formed into a flat plate, with a heater (1) inside.
) are arranged so that almost the entire surface of the case (3) is heated, and a sponge plate (6) is attached to one side of the case (3). When used on the inner surface of a square flowerpot with the sponge board (6) facing inside, water or liquid fertilizer will accumulate in the air holes of the sponge board (6), preventing the soil from drying out.

Figure 5 shows a conventional ceramic flower pot (indicated by a two-dot chain line) that is heated from the outside. The cylindrical cover (7) that covers the outer surface of the flowerpot has dotted protrusions (8) around the inner surface, so when attached to the flowerpot, the flowerpot and cover (7)
) can form a gap (9) corresponding to the height of the protrusion (8). The case (3) with built-in heater (1) has a cover (
7) It is held on the inner surface of the flower pot, and it warms the flower pot.
Since the heat from the heater (1) radiates upward through the gap (9), warm air also hits the leaves and branches. Further, an indicator light (10) is provided on the upper part of the flower pot, which lights up when the heater (1) is energized, so that it can be seen that the heater (1) is energized, making it easier to manage.

Furthermore, a heater wrapped in an insulating material may be incorporated into a decorative basket that encloses the flower pot to give it a good appearance, thereby increasing the temperature of the flower pot.

Although the above embodiment has been described in terms of heating one side (side or bottom) of the flowerpot, it is obvious that both the side and the bottom, ie, the entire flowerpot, may be heated.

Since this warmer is used along the wall of the flower pot, the shape and size of the warmer should be determined according to the shape and size of the flower pot. In other words, flower pots are generally shaped like an inverted truncated cone, but if the case (3) is attached to the side, it will fit better if it is shaped like a paper fan. Also, if the flower pot is square and placed on the inner bottom, use a flat square shaped one. Also, in order not to interfere with the heater (1), it would be convenient to make a cut in the case (3) so that it can fit even if the size is slightly different from the flowerpot.

The size of the warmer relative to the flowerpot (applied area) is based on the range in which the soil in the flowerpot can be heated uniformly (on average), and there may be some areas where it cannot be attached.

By pasting a heat insulating material on one side of the case (3) and using the heat insulating material on the side opposite to the soil, waste of heat can be prevented. Furthermore, if the heater (1) wrapped in an insulating material is built into a metal case and attached to a flower pot, the temperature of the heater (1) will be diffused through the metal case, making it possible to heat the plant more evenly.

The shape, length, arrangement, and placement method of the heater (1) are free and may be determined according to the size, shape, etc. of the case (3). Depending on the degree of cold and the type of plants, a heater (1
) may be provided with a dial that can adjust the temperature, and a temperature sensor may be provided in a part of the case (3) or in the soil,
The power may be turned on and off automatically.

Because this heater is installed in a flower pot, it does not interfere with the growing area of plants, and it is convenient because it can be attached to and detached from conventional flower pots.
You can also remove it when it is not needed. Linear heater (1

As explained above, the present invention includes a heater part formed on the side or bottom of a flower pot so that it can be attached to and removed from the flower pot, and a part that connects electricity to the heater. This is a device that heats the surrounding area. When it is cold, when it is attached to a flowerpot and electricity is applied to the heater from outside, the heater heats up and warms the soil inside the flowerpot and the area around the flowerpot, which can protect plants that are sensitive to cold. .

Further, although this invention is for flower pots, it can also be applied to plants planted in nursery beds or on flat ground, and can be useful for forced cultivation. This heater has a simple structure, can be produced at low cost, and is easy to use, making it a useful flower pot warmer for winter gardening.
