Claims

(1) A plurality of ultrasonic transducers are coupled to the same pulse generation circuit and receiver circuit through corresponding analog switches, and the ultrasonic transducers and analog switches are sequentially switched to perform a linear scan, and the echo signals are transferred to the receiver. - a short-circuiting switch coupled to said transducer and each having one end grounded; and a corresponding short-circuiting switch connected to said transducer and opening said shorting switch when said analogue switch is closed; 1. A switching circuit for an ultrasonic transducer, comprising a sequence control circuit that controls closing of a switch and also controls switching of the ultrasonic transducer.

(2) The switching circuit for an ultrasonic transducer according to claim 1, wherein the sequence control circuit controls an analog switch and a short-circuit switch so that a plurality of transducers are simultaneously driven as one group.

(3) A switching circuit for an ultrasonic transducer according to claim 1 or 2, wherein a delay circuit is interposed between the analog switch and the transducer.
