Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 射出成形において着色する手段にカラードペレット、マ
スターバッチ、ドライカラー及びリキッドカラーを用い
て行う方法がある。
これら４つの方式はそれぞれの用途において使用されて
いるが、ドライカラーとリキッドカラ一方式を射出成形
機に使用する場合、色換えが迅速に出来ない欠点がある
。
この原因について色々と調査したところスクリュのフィ
ードゾーン部及び該フィードゾーンに対応する位置の加
熱筒内面に付着した色素が仲々除去されないことが判っ
た。
スクリュのフィードゾーン部の原料は未だ十分に溶融さ
れていないので、原料の嵩さばりが大きくスクリュ及び
加熱筒孔表面に付着した色素を除去する作用が少ないこ
とに起因すると考え、この部分に色素を付着させない手
段を講じた。
この結果色換えが極めて迅速に行えるようになった。
次に本発明の実施例を図面に従って説明する。
１は射出成形機の加熱筒であり、２は加熱筒１の後部を
機台３に往復動可能に取り付ける射出台である。
４はスライドベースである。５は加熱筒１に挿嵌したス
クリュであり、スクリュの先端からメータリンクソーン
Ｍ１コンプレッションゾーンＣそしてフィードゾーンＦ
からなる。
６はスクリュ５を前進させ溶融した原料を射出させる射
出シリンダである。
７はスクリュ５を回転させる油圧モータである。
８は着色剤の自動計量点滴装置である。
該自動計量点滴装置８はスクリュ５が最前進したときス
クリュ５のコンプレッションゾーンＣと近接するフィー
ドゾーンＦの前部に設けである。
９は加熱筒後部に固定したホッパである。
１０は加熱筒１に巻いたバンドヒータである。
次に作動について説明する。
油圧モータ７を駆動させスクリュ５を回転させホッパか
ら原料を加熱筒内に落下させると原料はスクリュ５のフ
ィードゾーンＦに喰い込む。
バンドヒータ１０の加熱により原料は除々に溶融し始め
る。
フィードゾーンＦのコンプレッションゾーンＣと近接す
る部分では原料は相当溶融され原料の嵩はりもなく加熱
筒内に圧縮され始めている。
この状態の部分に着色剤の自動計量点滴装置から予め定
めた量の着色剤を点滴させる。
着色剤が混合した溶融原料コンプレッションゾーンＣ及
びメータリングゾーンＭを経て混練され求める色の溶融
原料をスクリュ５の先端部に貯溜する。
後退したスクリュ５を射出シリンダ６を駆動させ溶融し
た原料を金型キャビティ内に射出する。
本発明においては原料が溶融している状態の部分にドラ
イカラー又はリキッドカラーを混入するので、加熱筒内
面及びスクリュ表面に着色剤が付着し難い。
このため別の色の成形を行う際従来の方法即ちホッパか
ら原料をスクリュに落下させた所にて着色剤を混合させ
る方法に較べ色換えを迅速に出来るようにしたのは本発
明の大きな効果である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 回転往復動可能なスクリュを加熱筒に挿嵌し、該ス
    クリュの前進限度におけるスクリュのフィードゾーンの
    コンプレッションゾーンに近接する位置に着色剤を落下
    点滴させる装置を該加熱筒に固定したことを特長とする
    射出装置。
