Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a high speed/high pressure molding apparatus with a high weighing accuracy by injecting molding material into a molding die having a small passage clearance for developing shearing heat formed in a resin passage after it is received in a fixed quantity by a weighing injection cylinder from a plasticizing cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A molding material is plasticized with a plasticizing screw 1 of a platicizing cyliner A and then, fed in a fixed quantity to a weighing injection cylinder C while a plunger 3 is being tracted as connected to the cylinder C. The weighing injection cylinder C is moved to the side of a molding die B and with the plunger 3 quickly advancing, a thermosetting synthetic resin is injected into a cavity 20 from a nozzle 24 of a die B through a sprue 18 and a runner 19 in a resin passage 21. As the resin passage 21 at the tip of a shear pin 22 is closed only leaving a narrowly circular small passage clearance 27 open, a shearing heat develps in the resin die during passage thereof.
