Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、原発間たる特許第１１０３４０４号（特公昭
５６−４３８９０号）の保護装置例えば自動車乗務員用
の保護装置を改良したものに関し、該保護装置は、所定
の車両減速度を越えたばあいにガスによって自動的に脹
らまし可能な空気袋を有し、この空気袋に、脹らましの
さいガス主流方向に関し袋底部から間隔をおいて位置し
かつガス主流方向に対して直角に延在する挿入体が配属
されており、この挿入体のガス主流内に位置する範囲が
流入ガスのための衝突面を形成し、さらに、空気袋が乗
務員に面した底部範囲で挿入体と固定的に結合されてい
る。
空気袋をこのように構成することによって、該空気袋が
流入するガスによシ脹ら１し工程の開始にさいして、は
ぼ１方向にだけしかも保護すべき乗務員に向かって脹ら
まされ、かつ直径が比較的に小さいばあいにはほぼ超音
速範囲の高速でガス流方向に膨張することを、回避しよ
うとするものである。
このような構成によって、空気袋の強制的な半径方向の
拡張が達成され、このばあい形成された空気袋円板の高
さは、主として挿入体の保持部材長さによって規定され
る。
しかしながら実験によれば、挿入体もしくは空気袋底部
における保持部材の固定個所が、空気袋の衝撃的な制動
にさいしてきわめて強く負荷され、この結果特に不都合
なばあいにはこの固定個所が破損することがあると判明
しｔも 空気袋の衝撃的な制動のさらに重要な欠点によれば、衝
撃的な制動によってきわめて高い付加的な音圧が生じ、
との音圧により例えば車両乗務員の鼓膜が損傷をうける
ことがある。
したがって本発明の課題は、前述の欠点を取除き、かつ
保持部材と挿入体もしくは空気袋底部との結合が破損す
ることなく、さらに、空気袋を開くさいに車両室内に著
しい音圧が生じることのないような空気袋を提供するこ
とにある。
この課題を解決するため本発明によれば、挿入体が弾性
的な保持部材によって、車両に固定された部分に係留さ
れている。
弾性的な保持部材は、例えば空気袋材料から成る織物を
経糸または緯糸方向に対して所定の角度で切断すること
によって製作可能である。
次に図示の実施例につき本発明を説明する。
暗示された乗用車の操縦輪１には、図示されてない形式
で空気袋２が固定されており、この空気袋は充てんされ
た状態で示されている。
空気袋２の内部には、該空気袋２を充てんするのに用い
られるガスの主流方向Ｓ内に位置する挿入体３が配置さ
れており、この挿入体は、図示の実施例ではロープとし
て形成された弾性的な保持部材を介して、やはり操縦輪
１の範囲じ係留されている。
空気袋の車両乗務員と面する底部５は、このばあい例え
ば接着または縫合により挿入体３と固定的に結合されて
いる。
追加の関係 原発明たる特許第１１０３４０４号（特公昭５６−４３
８９０）は、所定の大きさを越えた減速度発生時自動的
にガスによって吹膨可能な空気袋を有し、空気袋にその
吹膨の際ガスの主流方向に関し、袋底部から間隔をおい
て位置しかつガスの主流方向に対して横方向に延在する
挿入体を設け、該挿入体がその、ガス主流中にある領域
において、流入するガスに対して衝突面を形成するよう
にした保護装置に関し、空気袋を乗務員に向いた底部の
部分で挿入体と固定連結することを特徴としていた。
これに対して本発明の課題は、保持部材と挿入体もしく
は空気袋底部との結合が破損することなく、さらに空気
袋を開くさいに車両室内に著しい音圧が生じないように
、原発明の保護装置を改良することである。
本発明は、所定の車両減速度を越えたばあいにガスによ
って自動的に脹ら１し可能な空気袋を有し、この空気袋
に、脹ら筐しのさいガス主流方向に関し袋底部から間隔
をおいて位置しかつガス主流方向に対して直角に延在す
る挿入体が配属されており、この挿入体のガス主流内に
位置する範囲が流入ガスのための衝突面を形成し、さら
に、空気袋が乗務員に面した底部範囲で挿入体と固定的
に結合されている形式の保護装置において、挿入体が弾
性的な保持部材によって、車両に固定された部分に係留
されていることを特徴としている。
従って、原発明の構成に欠くことのできない主要部が、
本発明の構成に欠くことのできない主要部を成すので、
本発明は特許法第３１条第１項の追加の特許の要件を満
たすものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 所定の車両減速度を越えたばあいにガスによって自
    動的に脹らまし可能な空気袋を有し、この空気袋に、脹
    らましのさいガス主流方向に関し袋底部から間隔をおい
    て位置しかつガス主流方向に対して直角に延在する挿入
    体が配属されており、この挿入体のガス主流内に位置す
    る範囲が流入ガスのための衝突面を形成し、さらに、空
    気袋が乗務員に面した底部範囲で挿入体と固定的に結合
    されている形式の保護装置において、前記挿入体３が弾
    性的な保持部材４によって、車両に固定された部分に係
    留されていることを特徴とする保護装置。
