本発明はTN形液晶表示素子において、電界印加に無関
係に常時表示機能を持つ液晶表示素子に関する
従来、常時表示としては素子表面へのインク印刷等によ
っていたが、これらは液晶表示部とのコントラスト差が
大きく、ディスプレイ全体としての表示バランスがくず
