Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the main body of air conditioner thinner in size by a method wherein a dew receptacle or pan is arranged below the evaporator slightly inclined and a lower portion of the louver guide plates arranged at the lower part of the evaporater is provided over the dew receptacle. CONSTITUTION:A dew receptacle or pan 4 is arranged at the lower end of the evaporater slightly inclined, a condensed water guide plate 7 which is of a louver type and inclined is placed at the lower part of the evaporator 2 and the lowest part is inserted into the dew receptacle 4. The condensed water dripped from the evaporator 2 is dropped onto the inclined louver surface of the guide plate 7 and guided in sequence to a lower part and guided to the dew receptacle 4. It is possible to perform passing of air through a clearance between the louver surfaces, so that an increase of the resistance of the air passed and suctioned can be kept at a minimum value. The louver surface is cooled by the dripped and condensed water and might generate dew at the rear surface of the louver surface. This dew condensation is eliminated by selecting the material quality of guide plate 7 effecting a thermal insulation. As a result, it is possible to make the main body of the air conditioner thinner in size.

[Prior art] As an indoor sub-unit of a separate room air conditioner, a ceiling-suspended type is installed that utilizes the space directly under the ceiling, which is relatively empty, in order to make more effective use of the limited living space. Room air conditioners have been developed. When this type of air conditioner is actually hung from the ceiling, if the product body is thick, it will give a feeling of weight and pressure, which is not good for the design. Therefore, various measures are required to reduce the thickness. Conventional relatively thick products were able to secure the drop slope of the dew pan necessary for draining condensed water, but thin When it comes to shape, it is not possible to obtain a sufficient head slope due to product size constraints.

また、室内空気吸込み面積も同様制約を受ける。In addition, the indoor air intake area is also subject to similar restrictions.

The structure of a conventional ceiling-suspended air conditioner is shown in FIG. 1 and will be explained. ■ is a cabinet that forms the exterior of the 5 main units. 2 is an evaporator, which connects a cabillary tube (not shown), a compressor (not shown) and a condenser (not shown) installed in the outdoor unit with refrigerant piping (not shown), and completes the refrigeration cycle. is formed. Reference numeral 3 denotes a blower fan, and the indoor air that has passed through the air filter 5 is blown by the blower fan 3, cooled by the evaporator 2, and then discharged from the discharge grille 6. Further, the condensed water generated by heat exchange in the evaporator 2 drips into the dew pan 4 and is drained outside the machine. In such a structure, when the thickness of the product is reduced, the size of the suction port becomes smaller, and the suction area also becomes smaller, making it difficult to secure the required air volume. Naturally, it is also essential that the area σ of the ventilation passage be small. As an example of reducing ventilation resistance in this small ventilation passage, as shown in FIG. 2, the pipe arrangement of the evaporator 2 is changed from two rows to one row to ensure the necessary heat transfer area. In addition, in order to increase the air passage cross-sectional area, if the air suction port is only on the back side as shown in Figure 1, the ventilation resistance will be large, so it is necessary to also use a part of the bottom side as shown in Figure 2. Some devices are designed to reduce ventilation resistance and secure the required air volume. However, if a part of the bottom is used as an air suction port, the condensation pan 4 will be limited in size to receive the condensed water dripping from the entire evaporator 2, and some of the condensed water will flow into the bottom air suction port. It drips.

[Summary of the Invention] According to the present invention, an evaporator is arranged at a gentle slope, a dew pan is arranged at the lower end of the evaporator, a shutter-shaped guide plate is provided at the lower part of the evaporator, and the guide plate is The lower part is a structure for the harmonizer's exposure plate.

[Embodiment of the Invention] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. By installing the evaporator 2, condensed water dripping from the evaporator 2 falls on the sloped shutter surface 8 of the guide plate 7, and is further transmitted to the lower shutter surface 8, where 1. The water is sequentially transmitted and guided to the dew pan 4. Incidentally, since one ventilation can be carried out through the gap between the shutter surfaces 8, the increase in air suction ventilation resistance can be kept to a minimum. Furthermore, there is a concern that the shutter surface 8 may be cooled by the five drops of condensed water, resulting in dew on the back surface of the shutter surface 8, but this can be resolved by selecting a material for the condensed water guide plate 7 that has a heat insulating effect. I can do it.
