A laminated decorative veneer having knitted parts between the grains, such as teak wood, can be manufactured as follows. That is,
Only the surface layer of the dyed veneer is dyed in a dark color, and this surface dark-colored veneer and simply dyed veneer are stacked alternately with summer material packaging adhesive, and the mold surface is curved. It can be manufactured by pressing in a pair of upper and lower mold plates to form flitches, and then slicing. In the laminated decorative veneer manufactured in this way, the spring wood part is expressed by the dyed veneer, the knitted part is expressed by the dark color layer on the surface of the dyed veneer, and the wood grain is expressed by the Hizai colored adhesive. Ru. In this case, the surface t of the dyed veneer
Darkening of the hI layer is carried out as shown in ``■'' and ``@'', but each method has its own problems, which makes it difficult to produce a teak-like laminated decorative veneer.

(V) After dyeing, a dark dye solution is applied to the front side of the veneer and dried. In this case, because the moisture content of the veneer is high, the dark dye solution penetrates into the back side of the veneer, causing it to dry. This will change the color tone of the entire veneer.

The inventors conducted extensive research to find a method to darken the surface layer of a dyed veneer without causing such problems, and found that they applied an additional dye solution to one side of the dyed veneer and applied it to the other side. This invention was achieved by discovering that by applying water, only the surface layer of a dyed veneer can be colored in one color without going through the drying process twice.

That is, in this invention, a plurality of veneers are bonded to a 1m2 wooden board using an adhesive. This is a method of producing laminated wood by pressing it into flitches and processing this flitch to obtain laminated wood. The gist of this method is to use a material that is coated with a dye solution on one side and water on the other side.

First, dye the veneer to the desired color to create a dyed veneer.
This is dried to a desired moisture content. Next, the dye solution is applied to the surface of this dyed veneer using a roll coater, spray, 70 coat, etc., and the same or almost the same amount of water as the amount of water in the dye solution is applied to the back surface and left (cured). ) Then, in the process of dyeing the surface layer of the dyed veneer in a dark color, this surface colored layer-dyed veneer is used and subjected to stacking → pressing → slicing in the same manner as in the conventional example.

In this case, as described above, by applying the dye liquid to the front surface of the dyed veneer and applying the same amount of water or approximately the same amount of water to the reverse side, the dyed veneer can be dyed without curling. Deep color dyeing of only the superficial layer is achieved.

In other words, by doing this, the concentration gradient of water within the veneer is eliminated, and the dye in the dye solution applied to the surface of the veneer is prevented from penetrating into the back surface as the water moves. . On the other hand, if only the dye solution is applied to the dyed veneer (its surface), a large amount of water will be present only on the surface, so only the front side of the veneer will swell due to moisture absorption, and the back side will remain in its original state. maintain the condition.

しだがって、染色単板がカールし取り扱いにくくなる。Therefore, the dyed veneer curls and becomes difficult to handle.

This is noticeable when the dyed veneer has a low moisture content. However, by applying the vat dyeing liquid to the surface of the dyed veneer and at the same time applying the same amount or almost the same amount of water as the liquid to the back side, this situation can be resolved. Become.

Note that the moisture content of the dyed veneer before the dye solution is applied is set, for example, as follows. For example, if the concentration of the dye solution applied to the surface of the dyed veneer is 20% (heavy sensitivity standard, the same applies hereinafter) and the amount applied to the veneer is 5011/d, 40 f of water will be applied to the veneer. Ru. Therefore, t of water applied to both sides of the veneer is 8of. The density of the veneer is 0.4 f/c
4 and the thickness of the veneer is -klU, the weight of the veneer per IIF/IIF is 4009, which is 20% when the moisture content of 8 ot is converted to the moisture content. Therefore, when setting the moisture content of the dyed veneer after applying the dye liquid to 45%, the moisture content of the dyed veneer before applying the dye liquid is determined to be 25%. In this way, the moisture content of the dyed veneer before applying the dye solution is determined.

In addition, in order to lower the moisture content of the dyed veneer after applying the dye solution, it is sufficient to reduce the moisture content of the dyed veneer before applying the dye solution, or increase the dye concentration of the dye solution. To increase the moisture content of dyed veneer, do the opposite.

Next, this stack was pressed in a pair of upper and lower mold plates with curved mold surfaces to form a flitch, and then sliced to obtain a teak-like laminated decorative veneer. This teak-like laminated decorative veneer is shown in Figure 1. In the figure, numeral 1 is a knitted part formed by the surface dark-colored layer of the surface layer dark-dyed veneer.

The color change in the thickness direction of the surface colored layer-dyed veneer produced in the above examples was measured and shown in FIG. 2 in comparison with a reference example. 1jlA is the color change curve of Example 1.2, and curve B is the color change curve of the reference example. A dyed veneer was made in the same manner as in Example 1, and before drying, the dye liquid used in Example 2 was applied to the front surface of the dyed veneer, and the moisture content was 47.5 without applying water to the back surface. It has been dried to within ±5 inches.・The color change in the thickness direction of the veneer board mentioned above was measured by slicing it in 0.11m increments and measuring it from ↑. Figure 2 shows the Lab method's brightness index.
It represents. The reason why the back side of the reference example (curve B) is darker is that the dye penetrates from the front side to the back side through the conduit of the veneer.

In the above embodiments, a Labra rotary veneer is used, but a paper yarn veneer may be used in place of or in combination with such a wood-based veneer. Furthermore, the processing applied to the flitch is not limited to slicing, but may also be sawing, mikake, planing, etc.
The shape of the laminated wood obtained thereby may be columnar or plate-like.

This invention darkens the surface layer of the dyed veneer as described above, so the color tone of the dyed veneer as a whole does not change.
Further, there is no need to go through the drying process twice. Therefore, it becomes possible to easily manufacture teak-like laminated wood.
