Traditionally, for the treatment and prevention of alopecia, female hormones such as etradiol, estrone, and diethylstilhestrol, which act on endocrine secretions, and corticoids, such as cortisone, hydrocortisone, and prednisolone, have been used to enhance the function of the adrenal cortex. However, there are concerns about the systemic effects of these hormones, and they have not been effective enough.

On the other hand, from a nutritional standpoint, vitamins such as vitamin E and biotin, amino acids such as leucine, threonine, and methionine, as well as unpublished vasodilators such as nicotinic acid derivatives and acetylcholine derivatives, salicylic acid and resorcinol, etc. Keratolytic agents, cefbranch/, photosensitive pigments, skin function nonadults such as capsicum and candalus tincture, and bactericidal agents such as trichlorocarbanilide and alkylisoquinolium bromide are often added to external liquids or hair cosmetics. Although it has been used as a method, sufficient effects have not been obtained.

Therefore, the present inventor has made efforts to obtain a hair-nourishing substance from crude drug extracts and processed products that have more hair-growth and hair-growth effects than ever before, and which have almost no risk from the standpoint of creative use. As a result of repeated research, we discovered that millet extract satisfactorily meets expectations, and that products containing wheat sprout oil, calcium pantothenate, L-cysteine, etc. synergistically enhance the 11 hair effect, and we have developed the present invention. It is completed.

At least four types of active ingredients are used in the hair nourishing composition of the present invention: millet extract, wheat germ oil, calcium pantothenate, and L-cysteine. Although there is almost no research on the application of millet to medicine, the millet extract in the present invention refers to a combination of a fat-soluble extract and a water-soluble extract of millet.

The manufacturing method involves extracting acetone from millet seeds using a filtration method. The acetone extract is then distilled at normal pressure to remove acetone. The extract from which the acetone has been removed is dried with sodium sulfate, filtered to obtain an oily substance, and stored in a sealed container filled with nitrogen to prevent oxidation. In addition, the acetone extraction residue of millet is extracted with purified water by a filtration method. The aqueous extract solution is evaporated to a viscous substance under reduced pressure. The viscous material is further dried in a vacuum dryer. High-purity light silicic anhydride (Aerosil) is added to the dried product, mixed, and pulverized to size. Alternatively, silicic acid may be added to prevent coagulation.

The patch oil is either commercially available or is obtained as a nutritional food by a general vegetable oil manufacturing method, preferably a pressing method, from commercially available wheat sprouts or sprout-containing substances produced during milling. The obtained oil varies between 7 and 18% of the cut bud portion depending on the manufacturing method, but the component ratio does not change much, and the main fatty acid component (85%) in the cut bud oil is unsaturated fatty acids. They are about 53% linoleic acid, about 25% oleic acid, about 6% lyluic acid, and are also known to contain vitamin E.

Calcium pantothenate, also known as vitamin B5, is already used medically, and its deficiency is known to cause abnormal lipid metabolism, keratinization of the skin, and hair loss, and it is also used as a hair tonic. However, although it has been shown to be somewhat effective against alopecia caused by calcium pantothenate deficiency, it has not been sufficiently effective against alopecia of unknown cause.

L-cystine is the most abundant amino acid component in hair, and although it is not recognized as a general protein component, it is abundant in hair and keratin, and accounts for 100% of the keratin substances in hair.
About 14 tons of cystine is contained in f, and as an industrial method of producing cystine, a method of obtaining cystine by hydrolysis using hair as a raw material is also adopted.

By the way, millet extract and wheat bud oil are rich in nutritional value, and are particularly rich in minerals, vitamins, and amino acids that are essential for hair formation. It is well known that in some cases, apart from hair loss and graying due to extremely rare malnutrition, it has not been as effective as expected for general hair growth abnormalities.

In addition, pantothenic acid is a component of coenzyme A, a precursor of acetyl coenzyme, which is essential for carbohydrate and fat metabolism, and its deficiency is said to cause hair loss. Many researchers have doubts about the possibility of deficiency symptoms, as there are reports that the drug has been used to treat various symptoms that are thought to be due to deficiency, but there are also reports denying its effectiveness. be. It is also said that L-cystine exchanges redox with L-cysteine and plays an important role in metabolism as a component of glutathione in the body, but it is more active in the body than methionine. It is not an essential amino acid.

According to recent literature information, it is said that what is particularly important is the rate of change in the number of terminal hairs, and the reduction in the number of terminal hairs by treatment with the present composition was remarkable. This means that the progression from ingrown hair to terminal hair is prevented, and shows the effect of preventing hair loss.

In addition, regarding the ease of formulation for oral use, conventional hair tonics have been used in shampoos, hair lotions, etc. due to the side effects of oral administration.
Most of them have to be included in hair-nourishing cosmetics, such as hair tonics, or used externally, such as creams, ointments, liquids, and emulsions, and must contain keratolytic agents in order to be effective. However, this is not necessary as the ingredients of this composition are highly safe.
