Abstract

PURPOSE:When a fiber bundle is predrafted, wetted, squeezed and main-drafted, water is further added to the bundle to effect uniform wetting of the yarn, thus preventing uneven drafting, filament-winding around the draft rollers. CONSTITUTION:The fiber bundle Y is predrafted with rollers 1,1' and 2,2' in the predrafting zone and water is added from the whirl nozzle 3 to the bundle Y to wet the outer periphery of the yarn. Then, water is jetted perpendicularly to the axis of the yarn Y toward the center of the yarn from the jet nozzle 4 to wet the core part of the yarn. The yarn is made to pass through between squeezing rollers 5,5' to move the excessive water to the outer layer, resulting in uniform wetting all over the yarn. The yarn is squeezed with the nozzle 6 to reduce the water and further squeezed with the back rollers 7,7' in the main drafting zone M. Subsequently, water is supplied from the nozzle 8 to make the yarn contain a certain amount of water, drafted with rollers 7,7' and 9,9', false- twisted, dried and wound up.

First, as a method of immersing a fiber bundle in a solution, there is a method described in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 48-44535. In this method, the roving is immersed in a solution, then fluffed, false-twisted, and wound up.

In this method, as mentioned above, the roving is immersed in a solution and moistened, so the outer layer of the roving can be easily wetted, but air remains in the center of the roving, making it difficult to wet the roving. There is a difference in moisture content between the outer and inner layers of the roving.

As a result, the draft behavior of the fibers in the inner and outer layers is different, causing draft unevenness, and the wet roving is squeezed by the pack loaf in the draft zone, which reduces the moisture content of the roving in the draft zone. There are disadvantages such as fibers winding around the draft loaf because the amount of water contained in the yarn becomes too low.

For example, there is a method described in JP-A-47-72425. This method involves injecting the solution into the roving through a pipe and wetting it, so the surface of the roving on the side where the liquid is poured is easily wetted, but the surface of the roving on the opposite side of the roving is not wetted. <<, and since air remains in the center of the roving, the inner layer is more difficult to moisten than the outer layer. In addition, since the roving is squeezed by the pack loaf in the draft zone, the moisture content of the roving in the draft zone decreases, and as in the case of dipping described above, uneven force may occur or the fibers may wrap around the draft loaf. There are drawbacks such as.

In addition, in the case of 9 or more, the fiber bundle (to wet the outer layer of Yl, water is sprayed from the vortex water supply nozzle yv (3) to form the fiber bundle) while giving a false twist to the fiber bundle. A method of wetting the fiber bundle is used, but in addition to this method, the fiber bundle is
A method of introducing water into the fiber bundle (not shown) and letting water flow out from the entire inner surface of the nozzle to wet the outer layer of the fiber bundle passing through the nozzle, or simply directing water to the outer layer of the fiber bundle passing through the nozzle. Any method, such as a pouring method, may be used as long as it can achieve the purpose of moistening the outer layer of the fiber bundle. In addition, in the explanations above, water is used to wet the fiber bundle, but an aqueous solution containing a surfactant, a glue, etc. may also be used outside the water plate, or the outer layer may be wetted with water. The wetting liquid in the central part and the wetting liquid from the water supply nozzle in the main draft zone may be the same or different. Furthermore, the water content of the fiber bundle (■) is squeezed out by the squeeze nozzle tv (6), but in this case it is necessary to squeeze it sufficiently, so that the next main draft zone pack loaf (7)

By supplying a predetermined amount of water from L' (8), it is possible to cause the fiber bundle σ) to contain a certain amount of moisture that allows a smooth main draft.

As described above, in the wet spinning method according to the present invention, first, all the fibers in the outer layer and the center of the fiber bundle are uniformly wetted, and the first step is sufficiently squeezed to reduce the amount of water below the amount necessary for smooth drafting. A 5-step water supply process is performed in which the moisture content is set to a predetermined level, and then water is supplied during main doffing 7F to provide the fiber bundle with the constant moisture content necessary for stable drafting. This method enables high-speed wet spinning without any problems, and is a great invention that contributes to improving productivity and quality.
