  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 搬送装置により搬送される物体の鉛直方向の一側に設け
    られ、 物体の表面のうちの鉛直方向に向いた一方の面を照らす
    第一の光源と、 物体に関して第一の光源の反対側に設けられており、物
    体の搬送方向の端面を含む表面を撮像するように構成さ
    れた撮像手段と、 撮像手段によって撮像される物体表面のうち鉛直方向の
    他方の面を照らすべく、物体に関して第一の光源の反対
    側で撮像手段とは異なる方向に配された第二の光源とを
    有してなる 物体の形状識別装置。
