    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. “　　被検材表面に垂直に超音波を入射し、被検材から
    の反射波を検出し、その反射波の信号処理に際］７て欠
    陥検出ゲートを設定し、このゲート内で欠陥エコーを検
    出する超音波探傷装置において、被検材表面に垂直に超
    音波を入射し、且つ被検材からの反射波を検出する単一
    のプローブと、該プローブの検出信号に基いて被検材の
    肉厚を検出する肉厚測定手段と、該肉厚測定手段による
    検出肉厚値に関連づけて欠陥検出ゲートのゲート終点を
    設定する手段とを備えることを特徴とする超音波探傷装
    置。
