Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate rearrangement work, by storing the name of a tool used for each work, comparing the tool in a tool magazine used at present with the tool used for the next machining and displaying the tool inconformable. CONSTITUTION:A tool set memory 14 storing the name of a tool used for each work and a tool set memory storing the name of a tool contained in a tool magazine at present correspondingly to a tool pocket number are connected to a main control unit 12 in a machining center equipped with the tool magazine provided with the proper pocket number. The work is changed, when the tool used for the next machining is displayed on a display 10, tool information of a tool layout memory is compared with that of a tool set memory corresponding to the next machined work to display the conformable tool name in green color while the inconformable one in red color.

明である事が一般的な為、一旦現在装着されている工具
を全て取り外して、新たに次加工の工具をマガジンポケ
ットに装着するか、又は別途メモ等を作成していちいち
確認して着脱を行なっていた。この為工具の段取シ時間
が徒らに長きにわたっていたシ、・誤装着の危険も高か
った。

されている工具情報とを比較し、ディスプレイ上に次加
工に使用するポケット番号毎の工具名称、呼び径、識別
コードを表示する際、現在装着されている工具と次加ニ
ブログラムに使用する工具の工具情報を比較し、一致し
ていれば緑色、不一致の場合は赤色でディスプレイ上に
表示する様にして構成し、もって前述の欠点を解消した
事を特徴とするマシニングセンタにおける工具着脱管理
方法を提供する事を目的とするものである。

る。主制御部12には加ニブログラム登録メモリ13、
工具セットメモリ14、工具レイアウト制御部15を介
して工具レイアウトメモリ16が接続している。工具セ
ットメモリ14には、被加工物毎に加工に使用する工具
の情報INF、即ちポケット番号PKNO,工具名称N
AME、呼び径CAL 、識別コードSAFが第4図に
示す様に格納されている。

上に次加工に使用するポケット番号毎の工具名称、呼び
径、識別コードを表示する際、現在装着されている工具
と次加ニブログラムに使用する工具の工具情報を比較し
、一致していれば緑色、不一致の場合は赤色でディX7
’レイ上に表示する様にしたので、オペレータはディス
プレイに表示される色を確認し、赤色表示されているポ
ケット番号に指示される工具を装着すれば良く、マシニ
ングセンタにおける工具の段取り時間を短縮する事がで
