管理方法に関する。

従来、マシニングセンタにおいて被加工物を加
工する場合、新規被加工物の加工前にマガジンポ
ケツトに当該加工に使用する工具の装着をあらか
じめしておく必要があつたが、当該プログラムを
作成する場合には、当該加工直前にマガジンに装
着されている工具の取付け状態が不明である事が
一般的な為、一且現在装着されている工具を全て
取り外して、新たに次加工の工具をマガジンポケ
ツトに装着するか、又は別途メモ等でチエツクシ
ートを作成していちいち確認して着脱を行なつて
いた。この為工具の段取り時間が徒らに長きにわ
たつていたり、誤装着の危険も高かつた。

マシニングセンタ1は第1図及び第2図に示す
様に、本体2に対して水平の直角2方向に移動駆
動自在なX−Yテーブル3を有しており、X−Y
テーブル3上には被加工物を搭載する事ができ
る。本体2には円盤状のマガジン4が回転駆動自
在に設けられており、マガジン4の外周部には一
定の間隔で多数のマガジンポケツト4aが各ポケ
ツト4aに固有のポケツト番号を付された形で穿
設形成され、更に各マガジンポケツト4aには工
具5が挿入セツトされている。X−Yテーブル3
上方の本体2には主軸6が回転駆動自在に設けら
れており、主軸6の第1図左方には工具交換装置
7が設けられ、交換装置7はマガジン4から次工
程において必要な工具5を取り出して主軸6に装
着すると共に、主軸6にそれまで装着されていた
工具5をマガジン4に戻す事ができる。また本体
2には、後述のキーボードやデイスプレイ等が設
けられた操作盤8が設けられており、キーボード
9及びデイスプレイ10には第3図に示す様にキ
ーボード9には直接、デイスプレイ10には表示
制御部11を介して主軸制御部12が接続してい
る。主制御部12には加工プログラム登録メモリ
13、工具セツトメモリ14、工具レイアウト制
御部15を介して工具レイアウトメモリ16が接
続している。工具セツトメモリ14には、被加工
物毎に加工に使用する工具の情報INF、即ちポケ
ツト番号PKNO、工具名称NAME、呼び径
CAL、識別コードSAFが第4図に示す様に格納
されている。

て主制御部12を介して当該プログラムPROを
呼び出す。同時に工具セツトメモリ14より当該
プログラムに対応する加工に使用する工具の工具
情報INF、即ちポケツト番号PKNO、工具名称
NAME、呼び径CAL、識別コードSAFを呼び出
し、工具レイアウト制御部15に転送する。一
方、工具レイアウトメモリ16には現在マガジン
ポケツトに装着している工具の情報が工具セツト
メモリと同様の形式で格納されている。工具レイ
アウト制御部15は次加工に際して使用する工具
の工具情報をツールレイアウトメモリ16に再登
録すると共に、現在の加工プログラムと次加工プ
ログラムの工具情報INFを比較し、ポケツト番号
毎に一致しているか否かを判別し、画面制御部1
1を介してデイスプレイ10に第5図に示す様に
ポケツト番号毎に工具情報INF、即ちポケツト番
号PKNO、工具名称NAME、呼び径CAL、識別
コードSAFを表示する際一致している場合は対
応するポケツト番号に相当する工具情報INFを緑
色表示、不一致の場合は赤色表示する事により、
赤色表示のポケツトに対する工具のみ工具の着脱
をすれば良い事をオペレータに知らしめる。

て比較し、その結果を表示手段に工具情報として
色分け表示するので、オペレータは次加工に必要
な工具がマガジンに装着されているかどうかとい
つた作業をチエツクシートを見ながらポケツト番
号毎に行なわずに済ますことができる。したがつ
て、マシニングセンタにおける工具の段取り時間
を短縮する事ができる上、誤装着の危険が低減で
きる効果がある。
