Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a key from being forged and/or stolen by establishing a system for starting an engine by inserting a magnetic card on which intrinsic key information is recorded, into a magnetic card reader connected to a microprocessor for controlling a fuel feeding amount. CONSTITUTION:A writing and reading circuit 5 which reads out the key information which is intrinsic for a car and recorded in a magnetic card 1 and writes-in a variety of car information onto said magnetic card 1 is connected to the CPU3 of a microprocessor 2 for automatically controlling the fuel amount supplied to a car. A ROM6 in which the key information on the magnetic card 1 is stored is connected to the CPU3. A realy coil 15 is connected to the CPU3 through an output interface 14, and a load circuit 18 for starting the engine of the car is connected to one end of the relay 17 of the relay coil 15. The CPU3 collates the key information on the magnetic card 1 which is supplied from the writing and reading circuit 5 with the information from the ROM6, and when the both coincide with each other, the relay 17 is actuated to operate the load circuit 18.
