本発明は、携帯時計用外装部品に黄金色を有する被膜形
成に関するものである。従米金色携帯時計用外gts品
の材料として金又は金合金のムク拐あるいは、その湿式
メッキ法により作成されてきた。また近年、イオンブレ
ーティングにより窒化チタン、窒化タンタル等の黄金色
を呈する41膜が形成さするようになり、とくに−化チ
タン被Mは携帯時計用外装部品等の装飾用外装部品への
通用が実用化している。しかしfkから窒化チタン被膜
の持っている色aAilは金、金合金、金メッキに比べ
明度が低く暗い感覚があ夛、さらに緑色あるいは茶色が
かつておシ安っぽい感覚があった。一方、雪化タンタル
の黄金色は窒化チタンのそれに比べ高貴な感覚を与える
ものである。しかしイオンブレーティングで被膜管形成
する場合、蒸発物質の融点、蒸気圧等の物性に゛より被
膜の形成速度、膜質等に大きく影響管うけ、とくに窒化
タンタル農を作成する・場合蒸発物質が32731の融
点を有するタンタルであるため付着速度を大きくするこ
とが出来ず、とくに携帯時針用外装部品のように外表部
全面に実携帯に促した厚みの窒化タンタルを付着させる
ことは処理時間の点から、あるいは処理時間が長いこと
から生じる再現性の悪さの点から実用化が困難であった
