Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は加工物着脱用ロボットとかローダ及びその他
の装置を利用することによシ、複数個のチャック爪を同
時に交換出来るチャック爪自動交換装置に関する。
従来、チャック爪は工作物の径に合わせる必要が有り、
人手によシ爪交換が行なわれていた人手を介さない方法
としては、長ストロークのチャックによる方法も有るが
、工作物の径と爪の成形径とが合わせられないため、加
工精度が悪いことと、爪の深さ方向の変更は出来ない欠
点が有った。
この発明は工作物の径の変化にも、把握式の変化にも柔
軟に対応するために、チャッ爪を自動で交換できるチャ
ック爪自動交換装置を得ることを目的とする。
この発明の実施例を図面にもとづいて説明すれば次の通
りである。
第１図は下爪に内蔵されたクランプ機構のアンクランプ
状態を示すもので、上爪の交換可能状態を示す。
チャック１には開閉動作をする下爪２が連結されておシ
、下爪２１こはスプリング５とクランプビン４とからな
るクランプ機構が内蔵されている。チャック１が閉状態
の時にアンクランプ用リング６が主軸台９に固定されて
いるシリンダ８のピストンロッド７によシフランプピン
４の周囲まで押し出される。
次に、チャック１が開動作を行なうと、クランプピン４
はアンクランプ用リング６に当シ、停止し、下爪２だけ
が開動作を行なうため、上爪と下爪の結合が外れ上爪交
換可能状態になる。
上爪３はパレット１０に第２図に示す様にスプリング入
シ止めねじ１１によシ保持されてチャックｌへ取付又は
取外しが行なわれる。
パレット１０は工作物着脱用ロボットとかローダ及びそ
の他の装置によシ搬送される。
次に、上爪交換後チャック１が閉動作を行なうとスプリ
ング５０力によシ下爪２と上爪８が結合されアンクラン
プ用リング６が後退して上爪交換動作が完了する。
この発明は以上説明したように、従来のチャックを簡単
に改造し、簡単な装置を追加するだけで、チャックの爪
が１組、複数個同時に交換出来、多種工作物の連続無人
加工を可能にする効果がある。
図はこの発明の実施例を示すもので、第１図は上爪交換
可能状態の切断側面図を示す。第２図は第１図の正面図
を示す。第８図はチャックの使用状態の切断側面図を示
す。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 工作機械用チャックの爪を上爪３と下爪２とに分け、下
    爪２に上爪８のクランプ機構が内蔵されておシ、クラン
    プ機構がチャック１の開閉動作とチャック外部からのア
    ンクランプ用リング６の前後動作より構成され、１組、
    −複数個の上爪８を保持可能なパレット１０をロボット
    や、その他の装置で搬送することにより、１組、複数個
    の上爪を同時に交換出来ることを特徴とするチャック爪
    自動交換装置。
