Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent efficiency drop of a steam turbine etc. resulting from secondary flow by forming rotors in such a way as the fluid inlet angle at the end part of the rotors varies from the position at a specified height toward the end part.
CONSTITUTION: A dynamic vane 27 is twisted in such a way as the fluid inlet angle β gradually increases or gradually decreases followed by a gradual increase as the height increases from the root part 27a to the prescribed height H1 27b, and increases in response to an increase of the rotation periphery speed caused by an increase of the raduis between 27b and 27c which is H2 below the top part 27d, and further increase from 27c toward 27d. The values of H1 and H2 are decided based on the thickness of the region which is controlled by the secondary flow on wall section. The fluid inlet angles at the root section and the top section are so decided as they vary from the fluid inlet angles at H1 and H2 by I1 and I2, or variances in the fluid inlet angles based on the difference in nozzle fluid outlet angle caused by the secondary flow.
