Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the hydraulic efficiency by a method wherein the blade of impeller is bent in the direction of the vane wheel axle and the inlet passage is installed by making it slant so that the flow may run along the tangetial direction of the blade part.
CONSTITUTION: Each blade part 21b is bent in the direction of impeller axle 20. Each inlet passage 18a installed at wheel receiving case 18 is faced to the turning direction of vane wheel 19 as well as it is slanted to the direction of vane wheel axle 20. As a result, the flow entering from inlet passage 18a runs from below along the curve of blade part 21b to the tangential direction. Outlet passage 18b is also slanted to the direction of vane wheel axle 20, thus, the flow released along the curve of each blade part 21b is discharge directly.
