Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce a volume of clads carried into a pressure container of a reactor etc. by a method wherein a condensed water near the inner surface of the hot well of a condensor unit is circulated to cause a sufficient rust-preventing effect and further a volume of generated clads is substantially decreased.
CONSTITUTION: Condensed water is injected from the injection holes 18... of condensed water injection pipes 17..., the condensed water near the inner surface of the side wall of the hot well 12 is flowed. Oxygen from the oxygen supply source 23 is supplied into each of the oxygen feeding pipes 21..., injected from the feeding holes 22... into the condensed water flowed in the condensed water injection pipes 17... and then melted therein so as tokeep a concentration of the dissolved oxygen in the condensed water at a desired value. Since the condensor 4 is kept at a vacuum of about 40mmHg, the concentration of the dissolved oxygen may not be increased too much. However, the condensed water near the inner surface of the side wall of the hot well 12 is flowed by another condensed water injected from the injection holes 18... in the water injection pipes 17..., thereby irrespective of a relative low value of the concentration of the dissolved oxygen, a high efficiency of rust-prevention may be realized.
