Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of heat collection by a method wherein a number of air ducts covering a plenty of projections extending from the ridge of metal roof to eaves thereof are formed and air in the ducts heated by the solar heat is communicated to a header in a ridge covering plates. CONSTITUTION:A number of extended metal plates 2 are arranged in parallel on roof boards 1, rolls 4 are formed by raised parts 2a at both side edges of the metal plate 2 and the metal lid plate 3, a transparent resin plate 8 having a section of wide angle V-shape with V-shaped corners is installed between the adjacent rolls 4 in such a manner as its corner ports are abutted against the metal plate 2, its side edges are pushed into below the fastening parts 10 for the rolls 4, and the seal members 9 are forcedly attached to the lower surfaces of the fastening parts 10 with a resilient restoring force of the transparent resin plate 8. In turn, between the ridge covering plate 5 and the transparent resin plate 8 is closed by a flat plate 7 and a header 13 is formed in the interior thereof. Air ducts 11 formed below the transparent resin plate 8 are made to be communicated to each other, and connected to a heat exchanging part for the evaporator 15 in a heat pump by a duct 14.
