Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the recording function of a nonrecording portion by a method wherein acyl leuco methylene blue etc. used as a coloring component and basic substance contained in a microcapsule are heated to make a recording and then pressure is given to break the capsules. CONSTITUTION:(A) coloring component composed of acyl leuco methylene blue (salt with acid)[ex.; 3,7-bis(dimethylamino)-benzoyl 10-phenothiazine etc.] as a thermosensitive coloring agent and nitrate (ex.; urea nitrate etc.) as a coloring assistant, (B) stabilizer made up of a reducing agent like thio urea etc. (C) binding agent composed of a microcapsule containing basic substance (ex.; alkali substance like sodium carbonate etc., reducing substance like thiourea etc., etc.) and thermoplastic resin like (D) PVA are formed on a supporting matter to prepare a thermosensitive recording matter. This matter is heated to make a recording and thereafter, pressure is given to the recording layer to break the capsules and to eliminate the recording function of the nonrecording portion by the basic substance C.
