Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce noise and to maintain a sufficients S/N ratio in a regenerative amplifier circuit including a magnetic reluctance effective element, by employing a common circuit through which amplification of the regenerative head and supply of driving current can be achieved. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic reluctance effective element head 10 and a magnetic reclutance effective element 25 for temperature compensation having the same temperature reluctance characteristics are provided. If the gain of an opened loop of a differential amplifier 12 is sufficiently rised relative to the gain of a closed loop, a current is supplied to the magnetic head 10 from an output of the differential amplifier 12 through a resistance of the temperature compensation element 25 so that the voltage at the junction of the resistance of a temperature compensation element and the magnetic head 10 is equal to the voltage at the junction of resistances 27 and 28. The reluctance is varied by an external magnetic field applied to the magnetic head 10. The output voltage proportional to the variation of resistance of the magnetic head is obtained at both terminals of resistance of the temperature compensation element so that the voltage at the junction of the temperature compensation element 25 and a magnetic head 10, is equal to the voltage at the junction of resistors 27 and 28.
