Abstract
PURPOSE: To mold a magnetic resin material favorably in the workability, by mixing a resin powder and a magnetic matter powder, loading the mixture into a mold of non-magnetic material, heating the resin constitutent under pressure by magnetic induction heating means to melt it, and thereafter cooling it to solidify it.
CONSTITUTION: A resin powder such as an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin or the like and a magnetic material powder such as iron powder or ferrite magnet powder are mixed, and the mixed powder material 1 is loaded into the lower mold 3 of non-magnetic material. The lower mold 3 is mated with an upper mold 2, pressure is applied by upper and lower rams, and at the same time the magnetic induction heating apparatus 4 are operated to cause the magnetic material powder in the mixed powder material 1 to heat, so that the resin powder is heated by the heat transmitted from the magnetic material powder. Thus, the resin powder is melted with less energy, and after the spaces between the magnetic material powder are penetrated with the melted resin under pressure of the upper and lower rams, the mixture is cooled to be solidified to obtain the intended item.
