Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the seizure of punching tools and obtain a spinneret having a planished glossy inner wall, by coating the top of a thin plate for the spinneret with a lubricating metallic thin film, etc. of a specific thickness, fixing the thin plate on a base plate, and perforating the thin plate with spinning holes.
CONSTITUTION: The top of a thin plate 2 for a spinneret, e.g. a stainless steel plate, is coated with a thin film 10 of thickness 0.05W5μ consisting of a metal (compound), e.g. copper, or a high polymer, e.g. a polyester, having the lubricity. The thin plate 2 is then fixed on a base plate 1, and blind polymeric introductory holes 4 are perforated on the thin plate 2 through the thin film 10 by the first punching tool 3. The thin film 10 is drawn along the tip (3a) of the tool 3, which will not be direct contact with the inner wall surfaces (4a) of the introductory holes 4. Thus, the seizure phenomenon is not caused. Blind polymeric extruding holes 6 are similarly perforated on the bottoms of the holes 4 by the second punching tool 5, and the protruded parts 7 protruded from the bottoms of the extruding holes 6 are ground and removed to pass the holes 6 therethrough. The thin film 10 is then stripped and removed.
