Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the titled printer from generation of bubbles in the ink passage system while recording is not made by yielding a positive pressure in an ink at a nozzle section with the pressurization of the ink passage system from an ink tank to a nozzle. CONSTITUTION:An elastic air chamber 6 is mounted at the top of an ink tank 5. A nozzle cover 9 is fixed at one end of a leaf spring 8 while a pressurization lever 10 is fixed at the other end thereof. When the printing is finished, the nozzle cover 9 is brought into contact with the tip of a nozzle 1. Furthermore, the pressurization lever 10 is pushed down and connected to an opening section 61 of the air chamber 6 to deform it so that the pressure is turned to a positive level in the entire ink passage. Whereupon, the deflection of the leaf spring 8 allows the nozzle cover 9 to be pressed against the nozzle 1.
