Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize the pulsative movement of ink pressure by making the spring constant of a pressure storage for performing a high quality printing by using a system in which a weight is attached to the cap of a pressure storage so that the cap does not rise until an ink injection starting pressure is reached. CONSTITUTION:A weight 10 is attached to the cap 2a of a pressure storage so that no rising of the cap occurs until the pressure of the pressure storage 2c reaches an ink injection starting pressure. Also, a spring 2b is designed to be slightly compressed under the fitted condition. Thus, when the ink pressure in the pressure storage 2c exceeds an ink injection starting pressure, the cap 2a rises and the spring 2b begins to be compressed. Therefore, the compression amount of the spring under the fitted condition can be minimized and the spring constant can be made smaller than in the conventional cases. The pulsative movement of the ink pressure can thus be minimized.
