Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a speed controlling device for an inexpensive induction motor by enabling to freely control the stoppage of the motor at the prescribed position at a stationary machine without contactor in the normal and reverse revolutions. CONSTITUTION:The starting and the finishing ends of the secondary and the tertiary coils of a 3-winding transformer 2 for a power source are externally led at the terminals, the starting ends of the secondary and tertiary coils of the transformer 2 are led through power reactors 3 and 3' to current controlling circuit 4, 4', the finishing ends of the secondary and tertiary coils of the transformer 2 are connected in reverse phase to one another and connected via an overcurrent relay 5 to an induction motor 6. When a transistor 4 is conducted, a current will flow through the coil (secondary coil) of the left side of the transformer 2, while a voltage is applied in the sequence of U-V-W phases of the motor 6, and the motor 6 is thus normally rotated.
