Abstract

PURPOSE:To always allow a moving unit to accurately and smoothly stop at the prescribed position by using a speed regulator for a motor driving circuit as a proportional regulator during the slow speed operation while the moving unit 1 is stopped at the prescribed position and increasing the proportional gain of the speed regulator when the moving unit enters into a stopping zone. CONSTITUTION:A discriminating circuit 12 discriminates the vicinity of zero of the output of a speed detector 11 at the time of stopping mode. When it continuously produces a time discrimination output longer than the set time of a timer 13 operated by the discriminated output, a flip-flop 14 is set, and a slow speed command is produced from an AND gate 15. A contact 10 and a gate 50 are conducted ON at the time of operating at slow speed, and a speed regulator 30 stably operates without overshoot nor undershoot as a proportional regulator. When a moving unit reaches a stopping zone, the slow speed command is eliminated, the gate 50 is interrupted by the output 0 of the circuit 19, the regulator 30 is switched to high gain determined by the resistors 36, 32, 33, and the returning torque of the motor 1 when the moving unit is displaced out of the stopping zone is set at the prescribed value.
