Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the wide and high speed rectification of a full-wave rectifying circuit by forming switching means necessary for the rectifying operation of push- pull type with transistors and producing the rectified output as a current output. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a half-wave rectifying circuit 1 which rectifies half-wave of an input AC signal voltage and produces separately the positive and the negative output currents, and a current differential amplifying circuit 2 which receives individually the positive and the negative output currents of the circuit 1, inverts one of the polarities of the positive and the negative input currents, adds both the currents and produces a full-wave output voltage. A modified push-pull type using transistors, as shown, for example, is employed as a method of switching the circuit 1, and the rectified output current is produced from the collector terminal. In this manner, the operation delay factor can be eliminated in the feedback part of the amplifying stage, thereby enabling high speed operation.
