Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the ratio of harmonic wave content in an inverter device by forming a neutral point of a DC power source in addition to the potential point of both terminals of the power source. CONSTITUTION:The series circuits of transistor S13, diode D11 and transistor S14, diode D12 are connected in anti-parallel between the output terminal U and the neutral point O of the power source as an example. An equipotential current flows through the series circuit of the transistor S14 and the diode D12 if the potential of the terminal U is positive with respect to the neutral point O and through the series circuit of the transistor S13 and the diode D11 if it is negative with respect to the neutral point O, when the terminal U should become zero potential, and thus the terminal U and the neutral point O become zero potential. This arrangements will similarly operate for the output terminals V and W. Since the potential of the output terminal does not thus transfer immediately from the one DC power source potential to the other DC power source potential as in the conventional device but is suppressed to a half in the variation of the potential, the ratio of harmonic wave content can be reduced.
