Abstract

PURPOSE:To apply load torque to a steering wing automatically by multiplying a signal which is in proportion to the square of a speed from a computer by the output of a steering angle detector which detects a steering angle at a multiplier, and using the result of the multiplication. CONSTITUTION:Simulation is so performed that a steering wing load which is in proportion to the square of the speed of a missile or underwater running body in addition to a steering angle is applied to the steering wing of the missile or underwater running body. A signal proportional to the square of the speed of the missile or underwater running body from an external computer 2 is multiplied by the output of a steering angle detector 1 through a multiplier 6, whose output is fed to a gain adjustment device 7. Then, its output is passed through a torque amplifier 4 to operate a torquer 5, and consequently a load is applied to the steering wing on real-time basis without any influence upon intervals of the calculation of the external computer 2, thus improving the response performance of a simulator.
