Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure a good-balance operation for a pair of dynamometers with an equal speed each other, by exercising torque control over one of the two dynamometers and a speed control over the other one. CONSTITUTION:The speed detectors 8a and 8b are provided to the dynamometers 3a and 3b respectively, and the detected speed signals are supplied to the speed control circuit 9 of dynamometer 3b. The circuit 9 operates the control power source 7b based on the input signal to secure an equal speed for the dynamometer 3b to 3a. A torque control is exercised over the dynamometer 3a by the torque detector 4a, torque control circuit 5a and control power source 7a. An external torque signal 6 is applied to the circuit 5a.
