Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve adhesiveness between a photoconductive layer and a substrate and improve durability by providing an adhesive layer consisting of an acrylic polyol resin between the photoconductive layer using a thermoplastic acrylic resin as a binder and the substrate. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive layer consisting of an acrylic polyol resin is provided between a photoconductive layer and a substrate. The acrylic polyol resin is synthesized by homopolymerizing a hydroxyl-contg. acrylic monomer such as, for example, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, 2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate or copolymerizing the same with a general acrylic monomer having no other hydroyxyl groups. The acrylic polyol resin is baked at high temps. to have sufficient adhesiveness.
