Abstract

PURPOSE: A mixture of a copolymer consisting of a vinyl monomer containing a hydroxyl group, an acrylic tertiary amine and another acrylic ester with an isocyanate is laid between the layers of substrates to effect adhesion between substrates of difficulty to be heated because of its high thickness.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive solution that is made by mixing (A) a copolymer consisting of (a) 0.0001W20mol% of a vinyl monomer containing hydroxyl groups, preferably 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, (b) 0.001W2.0mol% of an acrylic tertiary amine, preferably dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, and (c) 1W99mol% of an acrylic ester other than components (a) and (b), preferably methyl methacrylate, with (B) an isocryanate, preferably tolylenediisocyanate at a ratio of 0.5W1.5mol component B to 1mol component A is laid between the layers of the substrates to effect adhesion.
EFFECT: The substrates adhered with the mixture has high heat-resistant adhesion strength. The resultant adhesive has long pot life and good operability.
