Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the rate of operation, by applying an NC and using a general purpose tranfer milling cutter of peculiar mechanism having a high level of versatility.
CONSTITUTION: A vertical movement guide 4 is mounted to an index mount or conveyor mount 14 of a rotary or line transfer machine. A vertical movement feed motor 8 and a column 3, moved sliding by a vertical screw 6, are mounted to said guide 4. A lateral movement guide 9 is provided in the upper part of the column 3, to this guide 9 a saddle 2 is slidably mounted with a lateral feed motor 10 by external and internal screws, and to said saddle 2 a longitudinal movement column 1 is slidably mounted with a longitudinal feed motor 11, further to the front end side of said column 1 a vertical head seat 12, with the spindle usable to both vertical and horizontal states, is provided, then a horizontal head seat 13 is provided in the front end of the column 1.
