Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent variation to be caused when a fine tube of double gas laser tube is to be fusion welded to an outside tube, and to obtain the prescribed stable laser output of the gas laser tube by a method wherein the fine tube is supported to the outside tube with a sealig agent having the sealing temperature lower than the softening temperature of the fine tube. CONSTITUTION:The gas laser tube main body 10 is constituted of the outside glass tube 11 to constitute an outside circumferential vessel and the fine tube 12 to form a discharge path, and an anode 13 and a cathode 14 are arranged in the outside tube 11 thereof. The base part 12a of the fine tube 12 on the anode side is supported to the outside tube 11 with the sealing agent of low melting point glass, etc., having the sealing temperature lower than the softening temperature of the fine tube 12, the free end 12b of the fine tube at another end part is made to be extended in the outside tube 11, and moreover the discharge path is formed by a discharging aperture 12c arranged in the fine tube 12. Reflector constituting bodies 15, 16 are equipped to both the end parts of the main body 10 respectively. The fine tube 12 is supported to the outside tube 11 with the sealing agent having the sealing temperature lower than the softening temperature of the fine tube 12 to prevent variation to be caused when the fine tube 12 is to be fusion welded to the outside tube 11, and stable laser output is enabled to obtain.
