Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an electronic controller from malfunctioning by making regulated DC power sources rise in prescribed order and by monitoring all the time whether power voltages supplied to the controller is within a prescribed range or not. CONSTITUTION:With a switch 1 turned on, a reference power source 2 and power sources 3-5 rise up to a prescribed voltage with respective time constants, but in this case, they rise in the order of power sources 3, 5, 2, and 4. As the power sources 3 and 5 reach the prescribed voltage, comparators 6 and 7 operate to compare the voltage of the power source 2 with those of the power sources 3 and 4; when the relations between their voltages are not accepted, transistors (TR)20 and 21 are off. When the power sources 2 and 4 rise and the power source 4 reaches the prescribed voltage, the prescribed voltage is applied to an electronic controller 16 and the low-voltage part of an external device 11, and consequently the TR21 is turned on to energize a relay 22, thereby supplying the voltages of the power sources 3 and 5 to external devices 10 and 11. If the voltage of the power source 4 exceeds the range of the prescribed voltage, the TR20 turns on to energize a relay 23, intercepting the voltage supply to the devices 10 and 11.
