Abstract

A CIRCUIT ARRANGEMENT IS PROPOSED IN THE CASE OF WHICH THE LOAD CIRCUIT OF THE SWITCHING TRANSISTOR (2) IS USED FOR CURRENT MEASUREMENT IN A LOAD CIRCUIT OF A PULSED SWITCHING TRANSISTOR (2), INSTEAD OF A CURRENT MEASUREMENT RESISTOR. NO ADDITIONAL MEASUREMENT RESISTOR IS REQUIRED. A PREFERRED APPLICATION IS GIVEN FOR A SWITCHED-MODE POWER SUPPLY OR A CHARGER, IN THE,CASE OF WHICH THE SWITCHING TRANSISTOR (2) IS PULSED BY PULSES OF DIFFERENT LENGTH. THE LENGTH OF THE PULSES IS CONTROLLED VIA THE CURRENT IN THE LOAD CIRCUIT WHICH, IN TURN, CAN BE A FUNCTION OF AVAILABLE INTEGRATED CIRCUIT CAN BE USED AS THE CONTROL CIRCUIT.(FIGURE 1)
