CONSTITUTION:A microprogram stored in a control memory 1 is read out according to the address of an address register 2, and an error detecting circuit 4 detects whether it has an error or not. Then, the microprogram having the error detected by the circuit 4 is discriminated by a history detection part 6 to detect the occurrence of the error of the microprogram stored in the control memory, so that whether the microprogram is to be used or not is judged according to the detection result. Consequently, the program is investigated easily without increasing memory capacity and execution time.
