Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to obtain the optimum setting of tension in the tension control for the continuous annealing of belt materials by adding the tension deviation between a tension detection value and a load current value each section to a line velocity reference signal.

It is added to a line velocity reference signal, and controlled to accord with the tension pattern via a speed regulator 12a and a drive electric source device 13a. Consequently, the tension allotment of each motor can be easily adapted to the fixed pattern, and the control output of each roll can be monitored and controlled independently.
